This traditional hotpot is slow cooked to make the most of tender boneless lamb chops. The perfect hearty family meal.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Add butter and olive oil to a clean Dutch oven
  3. Melt - medium-high heat
  4. Add lamb chop to the Dutch oven
  5. Season with salt & pepper lightly
  6. Sear evenly until browned
  7. Add garlic clove to the Dutch oven
  8. Sprinkle with rosemary
  9. Add onion and chestnut mushroom to the Dutch oven
  10. Top with potato
  11. Pour lamb stock into the Dutch oven and cover
  12. Bake - 1 hr 30 min, 160°C
  13. Uncover
  14. Dot with butter evenly
  15. Bake until browned - 45 min, 160°C
  16. Serve
