Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 150°C
  2. Add olive oil and pork loin to a clean frying pan
  3. Season with salt & pepper
  4. Sear evenly in frying pan until browned
  5. Transfer content of frying pan to Dutch oven
  6. Add fennel bulb to the frying pan
  7. Fry gently in frying pan until softened - 5 min
  8. Transfer content of frying pan to Dutch oven
  9. Add garlic clove, fennel seeds and milk to the Dutch oven
  10. Season to taste and cover
  11. Cook until tender - 1 hr 30 min, 150°C
  12. Remove and reserve liquid
  13. Let rest - 20 min
  14. Cook in frying pan until thickened
  15. Serve
