  1. Prep and set aside carrot: coarsely chopped
  2. Prep and set aside onion: coarsely chopped
  3. Prep and set aside celery stalk: trimmed & coarsely chopped
  4. Prep and set aside portobello mushroom: coarsely chopped
  5. Prep and set aside water: boiling
  6. Prep and set aside lemon zest: zest of
  7. Get a clean large saucepan
  8. Add olive oil
  9. Heat on medium heat
  10. Add prepared carrot
  11. Add prepared onion
  12. Add prepared celery stalk
  13. Add prepared portobello mushroom
  14. Cook for 3min on medium heat while stirring occasionally
  15. Add finely chopped garlic clove
  16. Cook for 3min on medium heat until softened
  17. Add ground beef
  18. Heat on high heat
  19. Cook for 3min on high heat until browned
  20. Get a clean large saucepan
  21. Add water
  22. Add salt
  23. Boil
  24. Add spaghetti
  25. Cook until al dente
  26. Retrieve large saucepan
  27. Add tomato sauce
  28. Add prepared water
  29. Add prepared lemon zest
  30. Add dried oregano
  31. Season with salt & pepper
  32. Reduce heat
  33. Cook gently for 10min on low heat until thickened
  34. Drain pasta
  35. Transfer pasta to large serving bowl
  36. Spoon sauce into large serving bowl
  37. Grate parmesan cheese to taste
  38. Serve immediately
