  1. Prep and set aside garlic clove: finely sliced
  2. Get a clean large saucepan
  3. Add water
  4. Add salt
  5. Boil
  6. Add farfalle
  7. Cook until al dente
  8. Drain then set aside
  9. Get a clean large saucepan
  10. Add olive oil
  11. Heat on low heat
  12. Add prepared garlic clove
  13. Cook gently for 30s on low heat
  14. Add tomato purée and bring to a boil
  15. Season with salt & pepper
  16. Simmer for 5min on low heat
  17. Remove and turn off heat
  18. Transfer pasta to large saucepan
  19. Add unsalted butter
  20. Toss with slotted spoon until melted
  21. Serve parmesan cheese
