Step preview

  1. Add onion, garlic clove, ginger, ground turmeric, ground cloves, chili flakes, ground cinnamon, curry paste, lemon juice and sugar to a clean food processor bowl
  2. Blend into a fine paste
  3. Transfer content of food processor bowl to medium bowl
  4. Add turkey breast to the marinade
  5. Mix then set aside
  6. Heat peanut oil to a clean frying pan
  7. Add onion to the frying pan
  8. Fry in frying pan until golden brown
  9. Prepare a clean work surface with paper towels
  10. Transfer content of frying pan to work surface
  11. Pat dry with paper towels
  12. Add cauliflower to the frying pan
  13. Fry gently in frying pan - approx 5 min
  14. Add onion to the frying pan
  15. Fry in frying pan until softened - 5 min
  16. Transfer content of frying pan to work surface
  17. Pat dry with paper towels
  18. Heat peanut oil to the work surface
  19. Transfer marinade to frying pan
  20. Fry gently in frying pan while stirring occasionally - 5 min
  21. Add bay leaves, basmati rice and chicken stock to the frying pan
  22. Boil in frying pan
  23. Reduce in frying pan until tender to simmer - 12 min
  24. Stir nigella seeds into the frying pan
  25. Transfer content of work surface to frying pan
  26. Season with salt & pepper
  27. Garnish with almonds
  28. Serve immediately
