Step preview

  1. Prep and set aside fresh chili: deseeded & coarsely chopped
  2. Prep and set aside ginger: peeled & coarsely chopped
  3. Prep and set aside garlic clove: coarsely chopped
  4. Prep and set aside scallion: chopped
  5. Prep and set aside baby corn: sliced
  6. Prep and set aside chinese cabbage: shredded
  7. Get a clean food processor bowl
  8. Add prepared fresh chili
  9. Add prepared ginger
  10. Add prepared garlic clove
  11. Add muscovado sugar
  12. Add soy sauce
  13. Blend until combined
  14. Get a clean cutting board
  15. Add tofu
  16. Pat dry with paper towels
  17. Cut evenly
  18. Transfer tofu to large glass bowl
  19. Transfer marinade to tofu and cover
  20. Marinate in fridge - 1 hr 30 min
  21. Get a clean frying pan
  22. Add vegetable oil
  23. Heat - high heat
  24. Transfer tofu to frying pan
  25. Sauté until browned - 5 min, high heat
  26. Transfer content of frying pan to plate
  27. Get frying pan
  28. Add vegetable oil
  29. Add prepared scallion
  30. Add prepared baby corn
  31. Fry until lightly browned - 4 min, high heat
  32. Add prepared chinese cabbage
  33. Fry - 2 min, high heat
  34. Add cooked long grain rice
  35. Fry until heated through - 5 min
  36. Drizzle with soy sauce
  37. Stir tofu into frying pan
  38. Scatter cilantro
  39. Heat in frying pan - 1 min
  40. Serve immediately
