Step preview

  1. Add egg, buttermilk, golden caster sugar and sea salt to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 8
  4. Then add self raising flour to the batter
  5. Blend - approx 20 sec, dough
  6. Then add butter to the batter
  7. Mix - approx 10 sec, dough
  8. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - 5 min, medium heat
  9. Brush with extra virgin olive oil
  10. Spoon batter into frying pan bit by bit
  11. Fry each side in frying pan until light golden
  12. Serve immediately
