Sorbet is a fat-free and dairy-free way to cool down in the summer. We used honeydew melon, but cantaloupe makes a beautifully colored and delicately flavored dessert also.
Ingredients
Lime juice60 g
Granulated sugar70 g
Honey20 g
Melon700 gpeeled, diced
Method
1. Add lime juice, granulated sugar and honey to a clean saucepan
2. Heat until dissolved
3. Let cool
4. Add melon cubes to a blender or food processor
5. Pour syrup over the melon
6. Blend together until smooth
7. Chill in the fridge
8. Churn a clean large mixing bowl in ice cream maker
9. Freeze until firm
10. Serve
