Step preview

  1. Get a clean saucepan
  2. Add quinoa
  3. Add water
  4. Heat until boiling
  5. Simmer and set aside - 10 min
  6. Let rest - 6 min
  7. Let cool completely
  8. Transfer quinoa to large mixing bowl
  9. Add grated potato
  10. Add egg
  11. Add sea salt
  12. Add black pepper
  13. Mix together until combined
  14. Melt unsalted butter
  15. Scoop mixture onto large cast iron skillet
  16. Flatten
  17. Fry until golden brown
  18. Serve
