    Method

  • 1. Add ginger to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Chop with MC in place - approx 6 sec, speed 10
  • 3. Then add onion
  • 4. Chop with MC in place - approx 3 sec, speed 5
  • 5. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  • 6. Cook - approx 5 min, 100°C, speed 2
  • 7. Then add apple, granulated sugar and apple cider vinegar
  • 8. Chop with MC in place - approx 3 sec, speed 5
  • 9. Then add bay leaves, cinnamon stick and cloves
  • 10. Cook with MC in place - approx 20 min, 95°C, speed 1
  • 11. Then add cranberries
  • 12. Cook with MC in place - approx 18 min, 95°C, speed 2
  • 13. Let cool completely
  • 14. Once cooled, remove bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and cloves
  • 15. Transfer mixture to 2 jars
  • 16. For serving, place chutney in the bowl and Garnish with cinnamon stick and cranberries
