This is a Thermomix-ready version of Drop's dinner rolls, adapted for the TM5.

Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Grease a clean large glass bowl generously then set aside
  3. Add all purpose flour, active dried yeast, water, salt, sugar, greek yogurt, egg and unsalted butter to the TM5 bowl
  4. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  5. Mix with MC in place - approx 5 sec, speed 5
  6. Knead with MC in place - approx 3 min, dough
  7. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  8. Transfer dough to large glass bowl
  9. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise - 1 hr
  10. Punch down
  11. Shape into a ball
  12. Flour a clean work surface
  13. Transfer dough to work surface
  14. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  15. Cut into pieces
  16. Roll into balls
  17. Transfer rolls to baking sheet
  18. Add egg and water to a clean small bowl
  19. Whisk until combined
  20. Brush rolls with egg mixture
  21. Bake until golden brown - 20 min, 190°C
  22. Let cool on round wire rack - approx 5 min
  23. Serve
