You don't have to be a vegetarian to love these sinfully delicious burgers. My kids request these on a regular basis.

    Method

  • 1. Add onion, egg, canned black beans, canned chickpeas, chili powder and salt to a clean food processor bowl
  • 2. Pulse until combined
  • 3. Add mixed beans, panko breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Fold until combined
  • 5. Form into 8 patties then set aside
  • 6. In a clean frying pan heat frying oil over medium-high heat
  • 7. Panfry burgers until browned then set aside - approx 10 min, medium-high heat
  • 8. Repeat until all burgers are served
  • 9. Serve
