A simple, healthy and delicious vegetable side dish. Only 4 ingredients...plus salt and pepper! Would go great with chicken, pork or thanksgiving dinner.

  • Green beans icon

    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C / 400°F
  • 2. Place the green beans on a large baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil
  • 3. Add the garlic, shallot, and lemon juice
  • 4. Toss, using tongs or clean hands, until beans are well coated
  • 5. Make sure the beans are in an even layer and season with salt and black pepper
  • 6. Roast the green beans for 10-15 minutes, shaking the pan once halfway through, until the beans are tender, but still slightly crisp
  • 7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle beans with Parmesan cheese, if using
  • 8. Serve warm
