Delicious chocolate glaze that reminds me of the chocolate glazed old-fashioned donuts I loved so much as a kid.

    1 tbsp (15ml)

Step preview

  1. Chop bittersweet chocolate a clean small bowl then set aside
  2. Sift powdered sugar into a clean medium bowl then set aside
  3. Add unsalted butter, milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a clean saucepan
  4. Cook until melted then reduce heat - medium heat
  5. Transfer the rest of chocolate mixture to saucepan
  6. Whisk until melted and turn off heat - low heat
  7. Transfer the rest of sugar mixture to saucepan
  8. Whisk until smooth
  9. Dip and let cool
