Easy as can be Asian green beans. Fresh garlic and ginger packs a flavourful punch. Would go great with an Asian-inspired main dish like Sweet and Sour Pork.

  • Green beans icon

    Method

  • 1. Cook the green beans according to package directions, but short the cooking time by one minute
  • 2. Drain and rinse with water until cool; set aside
  • 3. In a large saucepan or wok set over medium high heat
  • 4. Add the green beans and the oil. Toss to coat
  • 5. Once the beans are coated with the sesame oil, add the ginger, garlic, and soy sauce
  • 6. Toss the beans with the ingredients for two minutes
  • 7. Turn off the heat, and stir the ingredients for one minute more in the pan with the heat turned off
  • 8. Serve warm, topped with sesame seeds
