In the traditional Thai manner, fresh rice noodles. (Well they don’t use a Thermomix® of course, but you get it right?) Make sure you soak your rice overnight before starting the recipe!

Ingredients

    350g (about 1¾ cups)

    450ml (2 cups)

    1 liter (1000ml)

Step preview

  1. Add white rice and water to the TM5 bowl
  2. Fit TM5 bowl to TM5
  3. Blend - approx 2 min, speed 9
  4. Then add water to the TM5 bowl
  5. Blend - approx 1 min, speed 9
  6. Line the varoma tray with parchment paper
  7. Brush with extra virgin olive oil
  8. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to medium bowl
  9. Add water to the TM5 bowl
  10. Boil - approx 10 min, varoma, speed 3
  11. Pour batter into varoma tray
  12. Steam - approx 7 min, varoma, speed 4
  13. Transfer content of varoma tray to work surface
  14. Slice
  15. Repeat
  16. Serve
  17. Store in fridge
