Step preview

  1. Prep and set aside onion: peeled & halved
  2. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - medium-high heat
  3. Add extra virgin olive oil
  4. Add shallot
  5. Fry in frying pan until crispy - approx 10 min
  6. Transfer content of frying pan to small bowl
  7. Fit the TM5 bowl to TM5
  8. Add butter
  9. Add chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  10. Add prepared onion
  11. Add sea salt
  12. Chop - approx 4 sec, speed 4
  13. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  14. Sauté - approx 15 min, varoma, reverse speed 1
  15. Cook - approx 15 min, 100°C, speed 1
  16. Let cool
  17. Add cream cheese
  18. Add sour cream
  19. Blend - approx 4 sec, speed 5
  20. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to large serving bowl
  21. Spoon onions into mixture
  22. Serve
