Step preview

  1. Prep and set aside carrot: grated & sliced
  2. Prep and set aside scallion: sliced
  3. Prep and set aside sushi rice: rinsed
  4. Prep and set aside cucumber: diced
  5. Prep and set aside avocado: sliced
  6. Fit the TM5 bowl to TM5
  7. Add mirin
  8. Add sesame oil
  9. Add tamari
  10. Add rice wine vinegar
  11. Add lemon juice
  12. Add mayonnaise
  13. Blend - approx 10 sec, speed 10
  14. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to small bowl
  15. Add prepared carrot to the TM5 bowl
  16. Add prepared scallion
  17. Chop - approx 3 sec, speed 5
  18. Transfer content of TM5 bowl to dressing
  19. Add water to the TM5 bowl
  20. Get the simmering basket
  21. Add prepared sushi rice
  22. Steam - approx 14 min, 100°C, speed 4
  23. Drain
  24. Transfer rice to large serving bowl
  25. Arrange prepared cucumber
  26. Add prepared avocado
  27. Arrange smoked salmon
  28. Add nori sheets
  29. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  30. Garnish with wasabi
  31. Garnish with pickled ginger
  32. Serve
