  12. Whisk in wholegrain mustard
  13. Whisk in nutmeg
  14. Season with kosher salt
  15. Prepare a clean work surface
  16. Add rustic french bread
  17. Add sauce to bread evenly
  18. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  19. Transfer half of bread to baking sheet
  20. Add ham
  21. Add prepared gruyère cheese
  22. Place bread on cheese mixture
  23. Top with prepared gruyère cheese
  24. Sprinkle with mixed dried herbs
  25. Bake until lightly browned - 10 min
  26. Serve
