This recipe is from Sarah Britton of My New Roots, and it definitely lives up to it's name. Made entirely of whole grains, nuts and seeds. It's high in protein, very high in fiber, gluten free and vegan. Toasted with butter is perfection. It's a feel-good bread that is actually good for you!

Step preview

  1. Get a clean loaf pan
  2. Add sunflower seeds
  3. Add flaxseeds
  4. Add hazelnuts
  5. Add rolled oats
  6. Add chia seeds
  7. Add psyllium husk powder
  8. Add fine sea salt
  9. Stir well until combined
  10. Get a clean medium bowl
  11. Add maple syrup
  12. Add coconut oil
  13. Add water
  14. Whisk together
  15. Transfer wet ingredients to loaf pan
  16. Mix well until thick
  17. Smooth
  18. Let rest - approx 2 hr
  19. Pre-heat - 175°C
  20. Bake - 20 min
  21. Remove
  22. Turn out content of loaf pan onto work surface
  23. Bake upside down until hollow-sounding when tapped - 35 min
  24. Transfer onto cooling rack
  25. Let cool completely
  26. Slice
  27. Serve
  28. Store in plastic container
