Pink Kota Cocktail with Reyka Vodka

A lovely and fresh winter cocktail. The cranberry juice goes very well with the thyme and is shaken with fresh blackberries to bring out the pink colour. Cheers!

Step preview

  1. Add granulated sugar, water and fresh thyme to a clean saucepan
  2. Heat until boiling - medium-high heat
  3. Stir continuously until sugar has dissolved
  4. Remove
  5. Let cool until room temperature - approx 10 min
  6. Remove
  7. Add vodka, crème de violette, cranberry juice, lemon juice and seltzer water to a clean cocktail shaker
  8. Add one third of syrup to cocktail shaker
  9. Add blackberries to the cocktail shaker
  10. Shake
  11. Transfer content of cocktail shaker to cocktail glass
  12. Top with ice
  13. Garnish with blackberries and fresh thyme
  14. Serve
