Method
1. Add granulated sugar, water and fresh thyme to a clean saucepan
2. Heat until boiling - medium-high heat
3. Stir continuously until sugar has dissolved
4. Remove from the heat
5. Let cool until room temperature - approx 10 min
6. Add vodka, crème de violette, cranberry juice, lemon juice and seltzer water to a clean cocktail shaker
7. Add one third of syrup to cocktail shaker
8. Add blackberries to the cocktail shaker
9. Shake
10. Transfer content of cocktail shaker to cocktail glass
11. Top with ice
12. Garnish with blackberries and fresh thyme
13. Serve
