This brownie recipe is thick and gooey, great for sharing with friends. Would go well with some vanilla ice cream!

  • Water icon

  • All purpose flour icon

  • Brown sugar icon

  • White sugar icon

  • Salt icon

    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  • 2. Add water and all purpose flour to a clean saucepan
  • 3. Cook while stirring occasionally - low heat
  • 4. Remove and let cool
  • 5. Add brown sugar, white sugar, salt, vanilla extract, cocoa powder and vegetable oil to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 6. Transfer content of saucepan to large mixing bowl
  • 7. Mix
  • 8. Add all purpose flour, baking powder and chocolate chips to the large mixing bowl
  • 9. Mix until well combined
  • 10. Grease a clean baking pan
  • 11. Transfer content of large mixing bowl to baking pan
  • 12. Bake until skewer tests clean - 25 min, 190°C
  • 13. Remove and Let Cool
  • 14. Slice
  • 15. Serve
