These dainty little biscuits have been one of my go to recipes for years now. Quick and easy to make these are perfect alongside a cup of coffee with friends, or all for yourself!

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Add self raising flour, cornstarch and icing sugar to a clean food processor bowl
  3. Blitz - approx 5 sec
  4. Add butter and vanilla extract to the dough balls
  5. Mix until mixture comes together
  6. Roll into balls
  7. Transfer dough balls to baking sheet
  8. Flatten slightly
  9. Bake until pale and light - 12 min, 160°C
  10. Remove
  11. Let cool on round wire rack and continue
  12. Add butter, icing sugar and vanilla extract to a clean food processor bowl
  13. Blend until mixture comes together
  14. Let rest until softened
  15. Spread half
  16. Assemble
  17. Dust with icing sugar
  18. Serve
