These dainty little biscuits have been one of my go to recipes for years now. Quick and easy to make these are perfect alongside a cup of coffee with friends, or all for yourself!

Step preview

  1. Prep and set aside butter: softened
  2. Pre-heat - 160°C
  3. Get a clean food processor bowl
  4. Add self raising flour
  5. Add cornstarch
  6. Add icing sugar
  7. Blitz - approx 5 sec
  8. Add cubed butter
  9. Add vanilla extract
  10. Mix until mixture comes together
  11. Roll into balls
  12. Transfer dough balls to baking sheet
  13. Flatten slightly
  14. Bake until pale and light - 12 min, 160°C
  15. Remove
  16. Let cool on round wire rack and continue
  17. Get a clean food processor bowl
  18. Add prepared butter
  19. Add icing sugar
  20. Add vanilla extract
  21. Blend until mixture comes together
  22. Let rest until softened
  23. Spread half
  24. Assemble
  25. Dust with icing sugar
  26. Serve
