This classic creamy pasta dish uses porcini mushrooms which add an earthy, nutty flavor that works really well with salty prosciutto and Parmesan. Keep a little of the starchy pasta water to thin out the sauce if required.

    2 tbsp (about 30ml)
  • Whipping cream icon

    150g (about ½ cup)

Step preview

  1. Add water and salt to a clean saucepan
  2. Add fettuccine to the pasta
  3. Cook until al dente
  4. Add olive oil to a clean saucepan
  5. Heat - medium heat
  6. Add garlic clove and porcini mushroom to the saucepan
  7. Stir frequently - approx 4 min
  8. Add prosciutto, whipping cream, fresh parsley and salt & pepper to the sauce
  9. Boil then reduce heat
  10. Simmer - approx 1 min
  11. Drain pasta
  12. Transfer pasta to sauce
  13. Toss until coated
  14. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
  15. Serve immediately
