This classic creamy pasta dish uses porcini mushrooms which add an earthy, nutty flavor that works really well with salty prosciutto and Parmesan. Keep a little of the starchy pasta water to thin out the sauce if required.

  1. Prep and set aside water: boiling
  2. Prep and set aside garlic clove: crushed
  3. Prep and set aside porcini mushroom: sliced
  4. Prep and set aside prosciutto: sliced
  5. Get a clean saucepan
  6. Add prepared water
  7. Add salt
  8. Add fettuccine
  9. Cook until al dente
  10. Get a clean saucepan
  11. Add olive oil
  12. Heat - medium heat
  13. Add prepared garlic clove
  14. Add prepared porcini mushroom
  15. Stir frequently - approx 4 min
  16. Add prepared prosciutto
  17. Add whipping cream
  18. Add chopped fresh parsley
  19. Add salt & pepper
  20. Boil then reduce heat
  21. Simmer - approx 1 min
  22. Drain pasta
  23. Transfer pasta to sauce
  24. Toss until coated
  25. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
  26. Serve immediately
