Step preview

  1. Add crème fraîche, anchovies, parmesan cheese and lemon to a clean food processor bowl
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Season with black pepper to taste
  4. Add romaine lettuce hearts and avocado to a clean large mixing bowl
  5. Pour dressing into salad
  6. Toss together
  7. Divide salad between 4 medium bowls evenly
  8. Arrange chicken breast in the medium bowls on top
  9. Scatter croutons over the medium bowls
  10. Season
  11. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
  12. Serve immediately
