This simple speedy shrimp stir-fry has a spicy kick and the vegetables add a fresh crunch. Prepare the ingredients before you heat the wok and keep everything moving. Using cooked shrimp allows you get a delicious dinner on the table in no time, but feel free to use fresh shrimp too - they don't take very long to cook anyway!

  1. Prep and set aside water: boiling
  2. Prep and set aside yellow bell pepper: cored, deseeded & sliced
  3. Prep and set aside shiitake mushrooms: trimmed & finely sliced
  4. Prep and set aside carrot: peeled & finely sliced
  5. Prep and set aside green onion: finely sliced
  6. Prep and set aside fresh chili: finely chopped
  7. Prep and set aside sesame seeds: toasted
  8. Get a clean large saucepan
  9. Add prepared water
  10. Boil
  11. Add egg noodles
  12. Cook and continue - approx 4 min
  13. Get a clean frying pan
  14. Heat frying pan - high heat
  15. Add sesame oil
  16. Add vegetable oil
  17. Add prepared yellow bell pepper
  18. Add prepared shiitake mushrooms
  19. Add prepared carrot
  20. Stir - approx 3 min
  21. Add prepared green onion
  22. Add prepared fresh chili
  23. Add cooked, peeled prawns
  24. Stir - approx 2 min
  25. Drain noodles
  26. Add noodles to frying pan and mix
  27. Scatter prepared sesame seeds
  28. Serve immediately
