Step preview

  1. Prep and set aside green onion: sliced
  2. Prep and set aside garlic clove: coarsely chopped
  3. Prep and set aside fresh chili: deseeded & sliced
  4. Prep and set aside ginger: peeled & grated
  5. Prep and set aside pak choi: shredded
  6. Get a clean large saucepan
  7. Add water
  8. Boil on high heat
  9. Add dried soba noodles
  10. Cook for 5min until tender and continue
  11. Get a clean saucepan
  12. Add vegetable oil
  13. Heat on medium heat
  14. Add prepared green onion
  15. Add prepared garlic clove
  16. Fry gently for approx 1min
  17. Add prepared fresh chili
  18. Add prepared ginger
  19. Add black bean sauce
  20. Add vegetable stock
  21. Boil
  22. Add prepared pak choi
  23. Add soy sauce
  24. Add caster sugar
  25. Add peanuts
  26. Simmer gently for 4min
  27. Drain noodles
  28. Rinse
  29. Transfer noodles to small bowl
  30. Ladle soup into small bowl
  31. Serve immediately
