Method
1. Pre-heat oven - 221°C
2. Grease a clean square pan
3. Add all purpose flour, cornmeal, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt to a clean medium bowl
4. Mix until combined
5. Add salted butter to a clean small glass bowl
6. Melt in microwave - low heat
7. Add milk and egg to a clean large mixing bowl
8. Beat until combined
9. Transfer content of small glass bowl to batter
10. Mix until combined
11. Transfer dry ingredients to batter
12. Mix briefly until just combined
13. Transfer batter to square pan
14. Bake until skewer tests clean - 20 min, 221°C
15. Cut into squares
