Method
1. Add unsalted butter and granulated sugar to a clean stand mixer bowl
2. Cream together until light and fluffy
3. Add egg and vanilla extract to the dough
4. Mix until combined
5. Add all purpose flour to the dough
6. Mix until dough forms
7. Wrap with plastic wrap
8. Chill in fridge - 30 min
9. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
10. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
11. Cut out
12. Decorate
13. Transfer dough to 2 baking sheets
14. Bake until light golden - 8 min, 175°C
15. Let cool - approx 5 min
16. Transfer onto cooling rack until completely cool
17. Add powdered sugar to a clean medium bowl
18. Sift in flour sifter
19. Add water and food coloring to the icing
20. Stir until smooth
21. Spread icing with 2 cookies
