Easy and delicious creamy almond butter with a bit of sweetness

    Ingredients

  • Coconut oil icon
    Coconut oil1 tablespoonmelted
  • Almonds icon
    Almonds400 g
  • Maple syrup icon
    Maple syrup3 tablespoons
  • Sea salt icon
    Sea saltas needed
    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 150°C / 300°F
  • 2. Line a clean large roasting dish with parchment paper
  • 3. Add almonds, maple syrup and coconut oil to a clean large mixing bowl and toss with slotted spoon until coated
  • 4. Transfer nuts to the roasting dish and roast for 8 min, 150°C / 300°F
  • 5. Toss again and roast - 7 min, 150°C / 300°F
  • 6. Let cool - 20 min
  • 7. Transfer nuts to the blender jug and pulseuntil fine crumbs form
  • 8. Blend until smooth
  • 9. Transfer almond butter to the medium bowl and sprinkle with sea salt
  • 10. Serve
