Method
1. Prepare a clean round pan with parchment paper
2. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
3. Add salted butter and granulated sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
4. Cream together until smooth
5. Add egg to the batter one by one while mixing
6. Add all purpose flour, ground almonds, baking powder, milk and vanilla extract to the batter
7. Mix until just combined
8. Transfer half of batter to medium bowl
9. Add cocoa powder to the batter in one of the bowls
10. Mix until just combined
11. Transfer batter to round pan
12. Swirl
13. Bake until skewer tests clean - 45 min, 175°C
14. Let cake cool before serving
