Step preview

  1. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  2. Add bread flour
  3. Add active dried yeast
  4. Add sea salt
  5. Mix briefly until blended
  6. Make a well
  7. Add warm water
  8. Add olive oil
  9. Mix until combined
  10. Knead until elastic - 10 min, dough hook
  11. Grease a clean large mixing bowl
  12. Transfer dough to large mixing bowl
  13. Cover with plastic wrap
  14. Let rise until doubled - 1 hr
  15. Get a clean small bowl
  16. Add sliced red onion
  17. Sauté in frying pan until soft
  18. Grease a clean baking sheet
  19. Turn out large mixing bowl onto baking sheet
  20. Flatten
  21. Cover with plastic wrap
  22. Let rise - 30 min
  23. Pre-heat - 200°C
  24. Cover bread with onions
  25. Sprinkle with chopped fresh rosemary
  26. Drizzle with olive oil
  27. Sprinkle with sea salt
  28. Bake until light golden - 30 min, 200°C
