These quick melt-in-your-mouth cookies go by many names. Rolled in powdered sugar and filled with finely chopped nuts, they're a true holiday favorite.

  • Unsalted butter icon

    Method

  • 1. Pre-heat oven - 174°C
  • 2. Line 2 clean baking sheets with parchment paper
  • 3. Add unsalted butter, powdered sugar and vanilla extract to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 4. Beat until light and fluffy
  • 5. Add all purpose flour to the large bowl gradually while mixing
  • 6. Add pecan halves
  • 7. Mix until well combined
  • 8. Shape into balls
  • 9. Place the balls on 2 baking sheets
  • 10. Bake until lightly browned - 14 min, 174°C
  • 11. Cool - 5 min
  • 12. Add powdered sugar to a clean small bowl
  • 13. Roll cookies in sugar mixture until covered
  • 14. Transfer onto cooling rack
