Method
1. When you begin to make the batter, turn on the waffle iron to get it nice and hot
2. Add all purpose flour, baking soda and baking powder to a clean large mixing bowl
3. Whisk thoroughly until mixture comes together
4. Add salted butter to a clean glass measuring cup
5. Melt in microwave - 1 min
6. Add egg to the glass measuring cup and whisk
7. Mix cultured lowfat buttermilk and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients
8. Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredient's depression and stir rapidly with a wooden spoon until well combined
9. Using the wooden spoon, push 1/4 of the batter onto your waffle iron plates
10. Bake until steam stops rising from the waffle iron or your personal degree of doneness is achieved
