  2. Whisk thoroughly until mixture comes together
  3. Add salted butter to a clean glass measuring cup
  4. Melt in microwave - 1 min
  5. Add egg to the glass measuring cup

  7. Add cultured lowfat buttermilk and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients
  8. Pour wet ingredients into batter quickly and mix
  9. Add water to the batter bit by bit while mixing
  10. Cook until crispy
