A perfect stew for a cold day made with meat and veggies you can probably find at your local farmer's market. The main ingredients are pork shoulder, carrots, sweet potatoes and kale.

    Method

  • 1. Add pork shoulder to a clean stockpot and brown lightly - medium heat
  • 2. Add sea salt, ground turmeric and black pepper to the stockpot
  • 3. Mix in sweet potato, carrot and kale
  • 4. Stir until lightly browned
  • 5. Add chicken stock, cover and boil gently until thick while stirring occasionally - 45 min
  • 6. Garnish with fresh parsley
