Method
1. Add unsalted butter to a clean small glass bowl
2. Melt in microwave on low heat then set aside
3. Add all purpose flour, salt and granulated sugar to a clean large mixing bowl
4. Whisk until combined
5. Add egg to the large mixing bowl
6. Whisk melted butter into the flour mixture
7. Add milk to the batter gradually while mixing
8. Strain batter with sieve
9. Chill in fridge - approx 30 min
10. Pre-heat frying pan
11. Ladle some batter into the pan and fry approx 3 min on one side - medium-high heat
12. Flip and fry on the other side - approx 1 min
13. Garnish with berries, honey or any sweet or savory toppings
