Step preview

  1. Pre-heat - 200°C
  2. Add shortening, butter, sugar and egg to a clean medium bowl
  3. Mix thoroughly
  4. Add all purpose flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt to the dough balls
  5. Mix until dough forms
  6. Form into balls
  7. Add sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl
  8. Roll dough balls in small bowl thoroughly
  9. Transfer content of medium bowl to baking sheet
  10. Bake until light golden - 8 min, 200°C
  11. Let cool on round wire rack
  12. Serve
