Step preview

  1. Add lye flakes to a clean medium glass bowl
  2. Add water to a clean medium glass bowl
  3. Pour content of medium glass bowl into water
  4. Stir until dissolved and let cool
  5. Add cocoa butter, olive oil, coconut oil and avocado oil to a clean large saucepan
  6. Melt and let cool
  7. Transfer water to oil mixture
  8. Mix with stick blender until trace is reached
  9. Add peppermint oil, fir needle essential oil, spruce essential oil, cajeput essential oil and cedarwood essential oil to a clean small bowl
  10. Mix
  11. Transfer oil mixture to oil mixture
  12. Add titanium dioxide, kaolin clay and blue oxide powder to the oil mixture
  13. Mix with stick blender until smooth
  14. Transfer oil mixture to loaf pan
  15. Bang onto work surface
  16. Smooth
  17. Wrap with kitchen towel
  18. Let rest until hard - approx 12 hr
  19. Slice into squares
  20. Let rest on surface until hard
