Method
1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C / 350°F
2. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
3. Roll out basic pie crust and almond paste onto a work surface
4. Carefully place the almond paste layer on top of the pie crust
5. Roll out until smooth
6. Slice apple thinly with chef's knife
7. Add butter to a clean small glass bowl
8. Melt in microwave
9. Mix brown sugar, ground cinnamon and melted butter together
10. Add sliced apples and toss until coated
11. Line slices up in three rows, facing in the same direction
12. Roll the edges of the crust over the apples to form a neat rectangle
13. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper and transfer galette
14. Bake until golden brown - 35 min, 175°C / 350°F
