This tart is the perfect finish to a spicy meal. Cool, tart, and refreshing, this recipe is very easy to make and has a wonderful tropical flair to it. Add whipped cream or whipped coconut cream and coconut flakes to garnish, or leave it simple.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat - 175°C
  2. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  3. Add crushed graham crackers
  4. Add unsweetened shredded coconut
  5. Add sugar
  6. Add salt
  7. Add melted butter
  8. Mix well
  9. Transfer crumbs to pie dish
  10. Press gently
  11. Bake until toasted then set aside - 6 min, 175°C
  12. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  13. Add egg yolk
  14. Add sugar
  15. Mix well
  16. Add lime juice
  17. Add condensed milk
  18. Add salt
  19. Mix thoroughly until well combined
  20. Transfer filling to pie dish
  21. Bake until just set - 17 min, 175°C
  22. Let cool on round wire rack
  23. Serve
