This topping is versatile and wonderful. I use it on my favorite seasonal pies or as a topping for fruit crisps. You can also bake it on it's own and use it to top puddings, mousses and ice cream. I love the combination of a pie and a crisp. I make pie dough for the bottom crust and top the filling with this oat crumble.
