Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 170°C
  2. Grease 3 clean mini doughnut pans
  3. Add all purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt to a clean large mixing bowl and mix
  4. Add salted butter to a clean medium bowl
  5. Melt in microwave - low heat
  6. Add buttermilk and egg to the medium bowl
  7. Mix until combined
  8. Transfer wet ingredients to batter
  9. Mix until just combined
  10. Pipe batter onto 3 mini doughnut pans
  11. Bake until springy to touch - 5 min, 170°C
  12. Add granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to a clean small bowl
  13. Mix until blended
  14. Add salted butter to a clean small glass bowl
  15. Melt in microwave
  16. Dip mini doughnut pans one by one
