  • Garlic clove icon

  • Olive oil icon
    Olive oil5 tablespoons

    Method

  • 1. Add garlic clove, ground turmeric, smoked paprika, ground cumin and olive oil to a clean small bowl
  • 2. Mix with tablespoon
  • 3. Add chicken thighs to a clean medium bowl and coat with spices
  • 4. Add olive oil and onion to a clean saucepan
  • 5. Fry until translucent
  • 6. Sear the chicken skin until golden before adding the liquid
  • 7. Add lemon, white wine, water and saffron threads
  • 8. Simmer - 25 min
  • 9. Sprinkle with green olives
  • 10. Serve
