Step preview

  1. Grease 2 loaf pans
  2. Get a clean large mixing bowl
  3. Add warm water
  4. Add active dried yeast
  5. Stir until dissolved
  6. Add all purpose flour
  7. Add whole wheat flour
  8. Add honey
  9. Add canola oil
  10. Add sea salt
  11. Mix until smooth
  12. Get a clean small bowl
  13. Add sunflower seeds
  14. Add whole wheat flour
  15. Transfer seeds to dough
  16. Knead for approx 7min until springy to touch
  17. Grease a large mixing bowl lightly
  18. Transfer dough to large mixing bowl and cover
  19. Leave for 1h until doubled
  20. Punch down briefly
  21. Divide into halves
  22. Form
  23. Transfer dough to 2 loaf pans and cover
  24. Let rise for approx 30min
  25. Pre-heat
  26. Bake for 35min until golden brown
  27. Brush with melted unsalted butter
  28. Sprinkle with sunflower seeds
  29. Transfer onto cooling rack
