This bright fresh salad is great for lunch on a hot summer day or as a side at a picnic. It's very cooling and refreshing. I love to eat it on the side of a burger to balance the heaviness. This salad screams August, as most of the produce is in its peak.

Step preview

  1. Add lime, lime, olive oil, fresh basil and mint to a clean glass measuring cup
  2. Whisk until combined then set aside
  3. Add cucumber, watermelon and cherry tomatoes to a clean serving plate
  4. Transfer dressing to salad
