  • Fresh thyme icon

  • White wine icon
    White wine180 ml
  • Heavy cream icon
    Heavy cream60 ml
  • Shallot icon
    Shallot2 tablespoonsminced
  • Garlic icon

    Method

  • 1. Add mussels to a clean large mixing bowl
  • 2. Melt salted butter in a clean large saucepan over medium heat
  • 3. Add shallot and garlic
  • 4. Sauté until fragrant - approx 1 min, medium heat
  • 5. Add fresh thyme, white wine and heavy cream
  • 6. Cook until simmering
  • 7. Add black pepper and kosher salt
  • 8. Transfer mussels and cover
  • 9. Steam - 5 min
  • 10. Serve immediately
