Is this a dish that the hunter had for his tea after a good catch of rabbits? No quite the opposite, a lovely piece of fine cuisine its cheese and toast with attitude it has a fine layer of melted cheese and other ingredients on top of a slice of toast, simply delicious.

Step preview

  1. Add cheddar cheese, egg, beer, worcestershire sauce and dijon mustard to a clean medium bowl
  2. Season with black pepper and seasoned salt
  3. Mix with tablespoon until mixture comes together
  4. Pre-heat - high heat
  5. Grill bread slices a clean work surface each side then set aside
  6. Transfer cheese mixture to bread
  7. Grill until golden brown - approx 1 min, medium heat
  8. Assemble
