A classic recipe for light and fluffy Thermomix Pancakes which is so quick and easy to make. Topped off with your favourite toppings, they make the perfect weekend brunch.

  • Milk icon
    Milk300 g
  • Egg icon
    Egg2
  • Self raising flour icon
    Self raising flour200 g
  • Baking powder icon
    Baking powder1 teaspoon
  • Salt icon
    Salt1 pinch
  • Butter icon
    Butter1 knob
    Method

  • 1. Add milk, egg, self raising flour, baking powder and salt to the TM5 bowl
  • 2. Fit the butterfly whisk into the TM bowl
  • 3. Mix - 3 sec, speed 5
  • 4. Scrape down sides of TM5 bowl
  • 5. Stir gently for 30 sec until smooth to dispel any lumps
  • 6. Let rest for about 30 min
  • 7. Add butter to a clean frying pan
  • 8. Heat butter in frying pan on medium-high heat
  • 9. Spoon batter into frying pan
  • 10. Cook in frying pan until bubbles form - approx 1 min
  • 11. Flip pancakes
  • 12. Cook in frying pan until golden brown - approx 1 min
  • 13. Serve immediately with toppings of choice
