If you love rhubarb then you’ll love this Thermomix Rhubarb Crumble. Quick and easy to make and comforting on a cold chilly day, especially served with piping hot custard.
Ingredients
Rhubarb400 grinsed, trimmed, chopped
Butter115 gchilled
Brown sugar2 tablespoons
Plain flour160 g
Brown sugar80 g
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan forced
2. Arrange rhubarb in an oval shape baking dish and toss in brown sugar
3. Add plain flour, butter and brown sugar to the TM5 bowl
4. Mix with MC in place - approx 20 sec, speed 5
5. Pour the crumble topping over the rhubarb filling and press down gently with the back of a fork
6. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and the rhubarb starts to bubble and ooze from the sides
7. Serve immediately
