If you are a cheese lover, this cheese spread is a perfect snack. The recipe is originally from La Gomera, the second-smallest of the main islands in Spain’s Canary Island chain. If you don't have mature goat cheese, this recipe works well with any hard and mature cheese.

Step preview

  1. Add hard goat cheese to a clean food processor bowl
  2. Blend
  3. Add nora peppers, garlic clove, tomato purée, sriracha sauce and black pepper to a clean mortar
  4. Crush well with mortar and pestle
  5. Transfer peppers to food processor bowl
  6. Pour olive oil into the food processor bowl gradually while blending
  7. Serve
